Description: Deruta is a walled hillside town in Umbria
[Italy]. It
is known as a center of refined majolica manufacture, and for
its ceramics, which are exported worldwide. Since the 16th century
the town has never stopped producing ceramic ware. The town is
filled with ceramic shops, lining both sides of the narrow streets,
