Description: The walled town of Manciano stands on a hill
overlooking the plain of Maremma in Southern Tuscany. In the past was an
important town and was dominated by Aldobrandeschi and Orsini families, by
the Grand Duchy of Tuscany and the Sienese republic. Now is a prosperous
agricultural center.
Sighs to see: The Aldobrandeschi family fortress,an imposing
quadrangular building with tower and battlements which is the seat of the
