Description: Small town located 23 km South of Florence and 42 km North of Siena. It is the principal town of Chianti wine area. It lies on a hill top covered entirely by trees and vineyards, in the middle of beautiful scenery.

Sights and Attractions: The beautiful triangular piazza in the center of the town • San Leolino a Panzano Parish church (Rich collection of art works) • The Church of Santa Croce (triptych by Bicci di Lorenzo) • The Castle of Montefioralle • The parish Church of San Cresci (Inside are still preserved a canvas with the Virgin of the Rosary 1615, and a 18th century Crucifix.) • Verrazzano castle (It belonged to the family of the great navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano and is surrounded by a beautiful Italian-style garden.) • The Castle of Vicchiomaggio • The Chianti Classico wine tasting center.
