NotoDescription: Noto is a city in Sicily, Italy, in the Province of Syracuse, 32 km southwest of the city of Syracuse, at the feet of the Iblei Mountains and gives its name to the surrounding valley, Val di Noto. Noto is the cradle of Sicilian baroque style. It was rebuilt in the 18th century after  the destruction of  the Ancient Town by the earthquake in 1693. Noto has a main street that crosses the town with 3 spectacular piazzas, beautiful palazzos and churches built with the warm colored local stone. In 2002 Noto and was declared a Unesco World Heritage Site
