Excursion: The Cinque Terre. Public transportation: website Portofino is located along the Provincial Road No. 227  connecting Santa Margherita Ligure with the seaside village of Portofino. The town is not directly accessible via the Highway, so the Rapallo's tollgate on A12 is the recommended exit to reach the destination. The village does not have many parking therefore It is advisable to use the bus service from Rapallo to Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino, with regular departures every 15 minutes. The alternative could be to take the the boat  leaving  every hour from Rapallo's sea front with a stopover in Santa Margherita Ligure and then continue toward the village of Portofino. Links with Camogli and San Fruttuoso bay.
